The Hope Center exists to develop youth from our community into world-class Christian leaders. The Leaders In Training (L.I.T.) program is the third-tier in our developmental youth programming where this occurs.

Because many youth have deficits in key developmental areas; L.I.T. is comprehensive in nature. Leaders In Training is committed to giving youth the asset needed to reach their full potential. To ensure that this occurs, The Hope Center is committed to providing:

• One L.I.T. coordinator for every 15 kids admitted into L.I.T.
• A team of trained, committed volunteers to invest in the youth
• A holistic program that develops the kids in seven areas
• A combination of classroom and experiential learning

Who is Eligible:
Students who are 7th grade and older are eligible for L.I.T.. In order to be accepted into this program, applicants must have displayed sustained faithfulness in The Hope Center programs or similar programs. Faithfulness is defined as: strong attendance for at least one year, a reasonable effort to apply bible study material, and appropriate behavior. Additionally, all candidates must complete an application form, and receive permission from their parent. It is our goal to reward and invest in students who demonstrate the desire to grow in servant leadership skills.

Tuesdays 5:00pm – 8:00pm from September through May

L.I.T. meets at The Hope Center located at 2800 E. Linwood Blvd.
