Celebrating Success: Kaicey Renee McKenzie, LIT Student

We are thrilled to shine a spotlight on one of our outstanding Senior LIT students, Kaicey Renee McKenzie, for her recent participation in the esteemed 29th Formal Presentation & Scholarship Recognition Program Cotillion. Sponsored by Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Kansas City, Missouri Alumni Chapter, and the Delta Educational and Economic Development Foundation, this prestigious event took place on March 20, 2024, at the Marriott Downtown Kansas City, MO.

Reflecting on her experience, Kaicey shares, “It was a very lengthy process, and without my mom’s assistance, I wouldn’t have been able to get through the program.” The cotillion not only provided her with valuable opportunities to forge new friendships but also served as a platform for personal growth and development.

Having the unwavering support of family and friends, including The Hope Center staff, at the event was nothing short of amazing for Kaicey. She expresses deep gratitude for the commitment and investment The Hope Center has made in her life, recognizing the pivotal role it has played in her journey thus far.

Kaicey’s success is a testament to her resilience, determination, and the support system that surrounds her. We take immense pride in her accomplishments and look forward to witnessing her continued growth and success in the future. Let’s continue to uplift and empower each other as we strive for excellence together.
