Founded by The Hope Center in 2009, Hope Family Care Center provides quality primary healthcare in Kansas City's east side. All patients are welcome, including the uninsured, insured, Medicaid, or Medicare.



We hope to partner with and empower all patients in their healthcare, which is exemplified by the provision of an affordable sliding scale fee for the uninsured.



HFCC is committed to providing culturally competent care, while continuing to develop a diverse board and staff. HFCC was recently designated as a National Health Service Corps approved site.

The Benton Community Garden, established with the support of the Santa Fe Neighborhood Association, features a 2,500-gallon cistern with a convenient pump for irrigation and offers both nutritious produce and a serene space—promoting sustainability and well-being for East Side residents for generations to come.

Founded by The Hope Center in 2011, Hope Leadership Academy is the only neighborhood elementary school in our community.

The Gathering KC is a program and event venue. Formerly the Annunciation Catholic Church, built in 1903, the building has been remodeled into a vibrant community space. Restored in collaboration with local preservation experts, the venue features a 43-foot vaulted ceiling, original woodwork, ornate windows, and stained glass—honoring its rich heritage while serving a new purpose.
