Meet Ms. Cierra, “not your typical yoga teacher” but one of our social/emotional yoga teachers at the Hope center. Cierra teaches social/emotional yoga to our S.A.Y. Yes! students (kindergarten- through 5th grade) on Mondays and Thursdays. Drawing from her spiritual background, she’s crafted a unique approach rooted in intimacy, self-discovery, and Christ-centered healing. Her mission is to help others uncover parts of themselves they may not even realize are missing. She leads our Social Emotional Movement classes at Hope Center.
“I’m not your typical yoga teacher, my classes are about Christ, connection, and discovering your inner self.
Ms. Cierra’s heart for children runs deep. Inspired by their innocence and purity, she’s passionate about helping young learners recognize their emotions and giving them tools to navigate an often overwhelming world. In her class, no two days are the same. She brings in music, dance, and arts & crafts to keep things fun and engaging. Her teaching philosophy is rooted in flexibility: she adapts to each child’s emotional and developmental needs, offering extra support or more challenging activities as needed.
Thank you, Ms. Cierra, for the love, care, and creativity you bring to our community!
